REV. WYRDSLI

Born Geoffrey Keating Beardsley September 28, 1962. (Sun in Libra, Moon in Libra, Pisces Rising)

First Published as "Rainbow Beardsley" in Aunt Martha's Connections in 1978.

Graduated from Rich East High School, Park Forest Il. 1981. Earned a B.S. in Recording Industry Management at Middle Tennesee State University.

First Published as 'Wierdsli' in The Balashti Papers in 1986, soon becoming a regular feature with installments from "The Book of the Sacred Mgick of the Lizard of Oz"(1988)

Began performing Lizard of Oz material as perfomance art in 1989, quickly gaining his reputation for unorthodox theatrics

"A Seperate Heresey" Being further conversations with the Lizard of Oz" was serialized in The Bahlasti Papers,

In 1982 he Produced and Directed "Coffeehouse: Atlanta's Underground Poets". A documentary containing rare footage of many Atlanta Spoken Word Artist, as well as the last video Interview with the Late Deacon Lunchbox.

Rev Wyrdsli hosted the Liquid Bean's Open Mic, Slams and features at Caffiends in Atlanta's Spoken Word community.

"Blues for Ebenezer" his book of Poetry was published in 1994.

"It takes a Camel to Cross the Abyss." in 1995.

In 1996, Rev. Wyrdsli read and spoke at the University of Bonn, Germany and the High Museum of Art in Atlanta,Ga.

In Austin Texas, Rev. Wyrdsli read at Ruta Maya, The Electric Lounge etc. and gave volunteer work for the 1998 National Slam.

Rev. Wyrdsli now lives in Clearwater,Fl and is a member of the Tampa Bay Poetry Foundation.
